Jalapeno Turkey Burgers

Servings: 4 people
- 2 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup sweet onion finely diced
- 1/4 cup cilantro fresh, chopped
- 1 small jalapeno seeded and finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin ground
- 1 lime squeeze juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 sprouted grain buns
Cook the onion until translucent (if you want you can just skip this step OR just use onion powder in the mix instead).
Combine all ingredients, EXCEPT the cheese, avocado and lime juice
Form patties with the turkey mixture, cook burgers until juices run clear. Top with cheese to melt, if desired.
While burgers are cooking, mash the avocado with the lime juice
Top the burgers with avocado mixture.
