45 Step-by-Step Yoga Pose Videos

Goal: Learn, step-by step, all the ins and outs of each yoga pose to suit your body type and fitness style. We’ll be using props and modifications to suit every body.

Feel bold and fearless when you finally know how to make a yoga pose work for YOU.
Learn to touch your toes… yes YOU!
Perform balancing poses without falling on your face.
Avoid pain in your body by making the correct modifications and customizing the pose to suit your needs.

10 Yoga Classes

Goal: Put what you’ve learned into practice. Practice makes perfect and this is where you get to prove to yourself that you can do it.

6 mini classes will allow you to quickly practice what you’ve learned in a mini class format along the way.
3 master classes to really give you that true yoga class experience. You’ll get one master class per week, only incorporating what you’ve learned in that week.
Remember those practice tests teachers use to give you before an exam? These are your practice classes before you venture out into the real world of yoga. I’ve got you covered!
You will be a fearless yogi once you have all these classes under your belt.

6 Specialty Workshops

Goal: Yoga postures are only one part of yoga. To be a confident yogi, I want to make sure that you are a well-rounded beginner who knows what they’re talking about. I want you to walk the walk and talk the talk.

3 breathing technique workshops: Breathe better and easier in class. These workshops will also help in all aspects of life, allowing you to balance negative moods and increase your energy levels.
Yoga philosophy basics workshop: Feel educated when talking to other yogis. Learn basic yoga history, how it can fit in your lifestyle, the 8 steps of yoga (poses are only one part), and other yoga philosophy tidbits.
Meditation basics workshop: Learn about meditation, what it is, and how it can positively benefit your life. You also get 5 guided meditations ranging from 3 to 20 minutes in length.
Yoga Safety Basics workshop: Learn the 7 principles of alignment that will allow you to stay safe during any yoga practice.

I’m the owner and master trainer at My Yoga Playground. And, not to worry, I’m certified as a 200-Hr Yoga Alliance instructor, have a long list of specialized yoga teacher trainings under my belt, and continually upgrade myself to better serve my students.

Can I download the program? I don’t always have internet access.
Yes, absolutely! You can download all the videos and printable documents. You will always have streaming access, but I realize not everyone has constant access to the internet, so this is ideal.
How much time will it take me to finish the course?
I provided a suggested 21-day course of action. That said, the program is yours to keep indefinitely, so go at your own pace if needed and break it up over as many days required to suit your busy schedule.
Does the program get shipped to me or is it all online?
No physical products are a part of this course. Everything is digital and provided online.
When do I get to start the course?
Immediately! Once your payment goes through, you will be asked to set up a username and password. Once registered, you’ll immediately be sent to your My Yoga Playground dashboard for instant access to your product. No worries if you start later though. There are no set-in-stone timeframes for start and end dates. Do what works for you.
How do I access the program?
Once paid up and registered, you will be sent to your My Yoga Playground dashboard. From here, you can click on the Yoga for Complete Beginners product and get started. Not to worry, all these details will be sent to you in an email after you sign up.
How is this different from the other beginner programs out there?
There are many beginner type programs out there, but most, if not all, immediately throw you into yoga classes without teaching you the “how-to”. I hold your hand through this entire process. You get all yoga pose breakdown tutorials, 10 yoga classes, 6 workshops, printables, and more. Not just that, you get exclusive access to our online social and peer support community to connect with like-minded newbies like you! To top it all off, I stay in touch through email over a 3 week period just to make sure you are getting along fantastically.
How much space do I need to practice? I have a small home/apartment.
Yoga mats range from 24” x 72” to 36” x 84”. That’s literally all you need for space or as wide as your arms will extend out while you are standing on the mat. You’ll also need access to your computer, laptop, tablet, or phone, so make sure you take this into consideration. You can find this much space in almost any part of your home. Once you’re done, you roll up your mat and put it away. That’s it!
Is there any equipment that I need to purchase before starting?
A home yoga practice will likely be one of the cheapest things you could ever do for your wellbeing. All you need is a yoga mat, comfy exercise clothing, yoga blocks and a yoga strap (for modifications), and perhaps a water bottle and towel. If padding is needed, you can easily use towels, blankets, or cushions that you already have at home.
What is your refund policy?
Since all materials are of a digital nature and made available to you as soon as you purchase, refunds are not provided for this product, without exception.
How do I watch the videos and read all the documents?
You will need either a computer, laptop, smartphone (Android or Apple), tablet, etc.
What type of support is provided with this program?

There is a peer & coaching support group that is provided online. I check in 2-3 times a week to answer questions in this group.
