This 9 minute dynamic yoga warm up will get you ready to tackle your workout.

Picture your muscle as a very cold piece of rubber. It’s not very pliable. Apply heat and friction to that item and it soon become easier to stretch apart. The same idea applies to our muscles.

No matter if you are doing yoga or getting ready to get into another fitness routine or sport, we should always warm up our bodies properly before we get going. Plus, stretching our muscles when they are cold is really not a great idea. We should always warm up before stretching (contrary to what we may have been taught).
